Friday, August 23^rd  

7:00 p.m. – Opening Ceremony, South San Francisco Conference Center.

The two-hour Opening Ceremony will feature performances by groups from N.A.B.O., as well as from Euskadi.  We are proud to present Eskiularra Taldea, from Xiberoa.  They will be accompanied by Mixel Etxekopar, the leading Txirula player in Euskadi.  We also welcome the singing group Aldudarrak, from Basse Navarre.

The cost is $20.00 per adult and $10.00 per child (ages 5-14)  Checks should be made out to Basque Cultural Center.  Pre-paid tickets can be picked up at the door that evening.  Tickets will be for sale at the door.

Saturday, August 24^th

10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.  Orange Park 

Continuous food, drink, entertainment, and exhibits will be available throughout the day.  Performances will feature dance and singing groups from N.A.B.O. clubs as well as from Euskadi. Herriko Kirola will be shown through wood chopping, weight lifting, and the N.A.B.O. Soka Tira competition. Various aspects of Basque culture and heritage will be on display in the exhibits.  There will be a variety of activities for children. 

Sunday, August 25^th

10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.  Orange Park 

Basque Mass will start on Sunday at 10:00 a.m.  Mass will be celebrated by the Bishop of Bayonne, Pierre Moleres, accompanied by Fr. Joseph Camino, Fr. Andre Saint Esteben, and Aita Martxel Tillous.  Following mass there will again be exhibits and performances throughout the day.  A BBQ Rack of Lamb lunch will be served at 1:00 p.m. The cost will be $20.00 for adults, and $7:00 for children under the age of 12.

The popular band KETXO, from Euskadi, will animate the weekend.
