Volume One :

 “Opening Ceremony of the NABO 2002 Convention, South San Francisco Conference Center” - 120 Minutes

In this video, Gratien Goyhenetche, Master of Ceremony,  introduces the colorful dance and singing groups from the NABO clubs of San Francisco, Chino, Bakersfield, Reno, Boise, and Utah, as well as from Xiberroa and Aldudes in Euskadi.  The acting mayor of South San Francisco, Pedro Gonzalez, presents Pierre Etcharren with the keys to the city and in turn is invested as honorary Basque with beret, makila, and scarf.  The Bishop of Bayonne, Msgr. Pierre Moleres and the Minister of Culture of the Basque Government, Miren Azkarate address the audience. Lifetime achievement awards are given to Al Ergquiaga and Aita Marcel Tillous.  All Friday evening performers are highlighted so don’t miss the chance to see friends, family, or you in this event.

Volume Two :

“NABO Festival, Saturday and Sunday Festivities and Mass” -   98 minutes

This video highlights the Saturday evening banquet in the fronton at the San Francisco Basque Center as well as everyone dancing in the dining hall to the music of the group Ketxo. Also filmed are the performances during the Sunday Mass in Orange Park  by the various dance groups, singers, and klikas, Spontaneous impressions of the weekend are given by Msgr. Pierre Moleres, Minister of Basque Culture Miren Azkarate, John Ysursa, and others. Look for your friends, family, and you in the crowd, at Mass, at the booths, in the performances.
